MPPP MODEL

I.       Context

Class: VII / Mover

School: SMP N3 Pekanbaru

Number of student: 35 students

Skill focus: Speaking and listening

Theme of lesson: Occupation

Time Allocation: 07.00 – 09.30 PM

Date: March 31^st 2015

II.      Objective

By the end of the class students will:

-          Be able to classify about kind of occupation

-          Decide their interesting occupation

-          Be able to act out the occupational job

III.             Motivation Strategies:

-          Teacher greets the students

-          Teacher asks chairman to lead a Praying

-          Teacher checks the attendance list.

-          Teacher motivates the students by asking them to stand up and ask them how Rich people usually act. Then doing 3 action (shoulders up, chin up, eyes up), then big smile.

IV.             Presentation Strategies

-          Teacher asks students what they want to be

-          Teacher shows an occupational video

-          Teacher asks students what kind of job they like

-          Teacher explain about the topic

V.                Practice

-          Teacher gives students occupation card

-          Teacher asks students to fill in the missing letter of the card given

-          Teacher asks students to submit the card

-          Teacher asks students to choose the card randomly

-          Teacher ask students to give clues of the pictures without naming the occupation

-          Teacher ask students to act out like the picture in the card

VI.             Warm-up

-          Teacher shows a funny video to make them feel happy

VII.          Production

-          Teacher asks students to come in front and explain about the occupation

-          Teacher asks students to explain about what they want to be and why
